I recently ordered a pair of hand-lasted shoes b/c it is difficult to find comfortable, well-made shoes in my size. Alas, these were still a little too big for me, but I was determined to keep them. I've used the foam/gel heel grips and cushions in the past and those have always irritated the back of my heel still, even if they've provided filler for any gaping. These silicone heel grips are a shoe-saver!!! The best part is that they come in 3 different cushion depths, so you can actually customize your fit - eg. my left foot is slightly bigger than my right, so I used a smaller cushion on my left shoe. My hand-lasted shoes now fit perfectly with no slip, thus no heel rub/irritation! The silicone "nubs" allow your heel to fit in nice and snug as opposed to the regular foam/gel heel grips that are just a big dense thing stuck to the back of the shoe - ORDER THESE NOW!! I expected them to stick better than they do. I dislike that they sometimes move while in use.These come in three thicknesses, so you have a choice of which you use. They are different from what I expected, with little bumps that wiggle as you walk. But they work well and are very comfortable. I went from having blisters to being able to wear those shoes comfortably.I put these in a pair of flats that are a little too big. They did keep my heal from slipping, but the bumps HURT my bare heal. They might be okay in shoes with which you wear socks, but don't even try them on shoes you want to wear bare foot.I have bought so many different heel grips over the years and been disappointed.
