Description

The world already had the likes of Fay Wray, Janet Leigh and Jamie Lee Curtis, but by the mid-1980s a new type of actress ripped out the heart of low-budget horror fans. By taking off their clothes and dying horribly, Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre) and Michelle Bauer (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) created the modern version of a "scream queen": women who mostly star in low-budget, often direct-to-video horror films. The hours were long and the pay was minimal, but these business-minded ladies unintentionally launched a trend by using their fame and looks to sell trading cards, model kits, comic books, 1-900 numbers and even bars of soap! Soon they were being flown all over the world, meeting President Reagan, and appearing on major talk shows. Then it all came crashing down. This is their breast-filled, blood-soaked story. Featuring hundreds of film clips and interviews with the women themselves, plus many of their most common collaborators like David DeCoteau (Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama) and Fred Olen Ray (The Tomb), Screaming in High Heels is the scream come true by director Jason Paul Collum (Something to Scream About and Safe Inside) which aired on SyFy & Chiller and now comes to you uncensored in all its sexually graphic and gore-filled glory.

This was a great Bio-pic about a follow-up on 3 scream queen actresses of early B Horror movies. Very well done and interesting.
